Biography…

I grew up in the small town of Collingswood located in South Jersey. I currently reside in Montgomery County, PA which I find to be a place of great inspiration for my art.

In high school my curriculum consisted of art & business courses. After raising my family I attended college courses in graphic art & design. I applied my knowledge to starting a business which catered to small independently owned companies. As the market became saturated with large graphic art companies, my own business began to suffer financially.

Reflecting upon my true purpose as an artist this gave me the opportunity to pursue my love of fine art. I paint the landscapes that surrounds me, explore various mediums through classes & workshops local & abroad. This has been and continues to be an inspiring and natural path for me to follow.    

My inspiration comes from my surroundings & everyday life. I desire the viewer to connect to my work and to experience the same compassion I had while creating art. I strive to convey a feeling of tranquility and peace.

I work in many different mediums & enjoy most. However, my current favorites are pastels & traditional oils. I describe my work as having vibrant colors with strong contrasts.

Art has never been a hobby for me, but a fulfilling & constant passion!
