Right outside of Philadelphia there is a place called Miquon. I used to be a resident of Philadelphia County and would often drive by this road. One day I decided to stop and take a few photos. This is the one I chose to paint from. A little bit of history: Miquon It is a small, unincorporated community in Montgomery county. It is named after the original inhabitants, the Lenni-Lenape people. I could go on and on about the history of this quaint area but I will let the reader research.
